DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Passport
- Original valid passport (+ photocopy of the identity page with the holder's signature)
- Please ensure that your passport has at least two blank pages
- ID Photograph
- One passport-sized photograph (35mm x 45mm), taken within the past six months, unedited
- Scanned or printed photos are NOT acceptable
- For nationals of the former USSR: two ID photographs are required
- Visa Application Form
- The signature must be handwritten and match the one on your passport, or if unavailable, on your residence permit. This applies to minors as well.
- For nationals of the former USSR: two visa application forms
- Residence Permit
- Flight information
- A reservation or e-ticket to/from Japan
- If you have not yet purchased your flight tickets, please provide your flight details with a screenshot from the airline or booking platform
- Travel Itinerary
- Proof of Financial Means (Originals Only)
- Bank statements from the last three months
- OR
- Payslips from the last three months
- A copy of the guarantor's valid ID
- A letter of sponsorship
- The guarantor’s bank statements for the last three months, or their salary slips for the same period.
IN THE CASE OF FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIP BY AN INVITER IN JAPAN- Letter of Guarantee
- 1 copy of a valid identity document (passport, My Number card, zairyu card, etc.) of the sponsor
- The last 3 months bank statements of the guarantor AND Bank Balance Certificate
- Certificate of Residence (住民票)
IF A THIRD PARTY APPLIES FOR OR COLLECTS THE VISA ON BEHALF OF THE APPLICANT(S)- Letter of Proxy
- Proxy’s passport / Identity card
